Hey Parents,

My hope for this website is that you will be able to stay informed with your children in Friendship Baptist Youth Ministry. A few things that you may or may not know. Our youth group’s name is The Foundation. This is derived from the scripture from 1 Corinthians 3:11 which states, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The goal of this youth ministry is for students to come to know Christ as their Savior and build their life on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

We regularly meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00p – 8:00p. The Junior High have fellowship time in the gym from 6-7p, with Bible study coming afterward from 7-8p. The Senior High have Bible study from 6-7p, with fellowship time in the gym afterward from 7-8p. Fellowship time is a time in which they can hangout in the gym, play basketball, volleyball, skate, or spend time in prayer with one another.

Events for The Foundation will be posted on the main page of the website. If you have any questions about an event please do not hesitate to contact. We will try to post regularly and keep everyone updated on what is happening with your children at The Foundation.

If you would like to be a part of our ministry we would love to have you. I believe that parents should be involved heavily in what their children’s walk with Christ so that, “Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.” Pslam 78:7. There is always something you can do to help us in Bible Study, Fellowship Time, and Planning. God is ready to use you to further his kingdom through the students involved at The Foundation.
