TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
Today is one of those days that you will always remember but you certainly wish it was for a different reason. Six years ago 9/11 became a phrase that would forever carry a different meaning for Americans. As long as I have a memory, I will never forget Lisa calling to tell me to go home and turn the television on because something bad was happening in New York. Wow, what a day! I ask that you join me in praying for the families of those victims on the planes, in the towers, and in the Pentagon. Plus, a special prayer of thanks for the emergency personnel who died trying to help the injured, the trapped, et cetera. We must pray!
I really don’t want to take away from our need to pray for those families today and to remember what happened on 9/11/01 so I will not write any more except to ask your continued prayers for Vance May and for Jason Husband as he has surgery today.
