FRIDAY, 11/9
The Widow’s Nite Out last night was an awesome time! The deacons and staff did an excellent job of hosting 23 widows and 5 widowers. Bro. Jerry & Bro. Kerry get their props for preparing all of the food except for the steaks. Junior Bosarge & Phil Sims did the grilling and all of the food was very good. It was a real blessing to see our deacons, staff, and their spouses ministering in the name of Jesus.
The Friendship family is blessed with some wonderful folks! An example – Phil Sims left last night at 9:15PM and pulled a trailer filled with Christmas items for Casa Aleluya to Montgomery, AL. He returned to Grand Bay at 3:15AM today. I really appreciate Phil doing this as those items will be taken to Guatemala by a group from Cumming, GA.
Jennifer Wetterer is joining a team from Southside Baptist in Troy, AL and some other nursing students for a mission trip to Honduras. They leave ATL this morning and will return next Saturday, 11/17. Pray for them!
Don’t forget our work day in the morning at 7:00AM and then our homecoming services on Sunday. I especially hope you will join us for the meal at 4:30PM and the service at 6:00PM featuring the preaching of Bro. Robbie Howard.
The Faith Academy football team plays in the AISA football playoffs tonight as they travel to Clarke Prep. A win tonight places them in the championship game next Friday night. Good luck Rams!
Hope you have a great Friday with Jesus.
