MONDAY, 2/21/11

God blessed and we had a good day in our four services, Sunday School, and Discipleship Training yesterday.  The attendance in our early service was very strong and our evening attendance was very good too.  Again, I am thankful for folks who are faithful!  I do think it is a sign of spiritual maturity.  We give God the glory!

Larry Brown, son-in-law of Lillian Brinkman, is having a knee replaced today.  Martha Patrick, Ted Ezell, & Merwyn Gunter all remain in a rehab facility.  Charles Clark’s brother, Howard, and his sister, Virginia Thornton, remain hospitalized.  Charles & Ann have gone to Brandon, MS and Laurel, MS today to visit with them.  Linda May is still recovering from her recent surgery. Carla Kyser is to have some more tests today.  Nancy West’s dad continues to need our prayers too.  Pray without ceasing.

It was thought that Sonny Bates may have to go to the hospital last night but he did not.  He will see his doctor today.

We will NOT be able to get the folks back in the west rooms on the lower level of the CAB by this Sunday, 2/27.  Problem is that we were thinking Dave Westhouse and Westhouse Home Improvements would be helping us and they did not show up!  Actually, there are Upward games each night this week and it will not be possible to be in there working each night.  However, we still plan on having a “demolition day” on the east end next Monday.

Got to go check my Facebook!  I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus!
