I am sitting in the Atlanta airport at 8:00PM (Eastern time) waiting to board a 9:55PM flight to Mobile.  Thought I would give a couple of updates.

Edna did not have to have surgery as they were able to get the bone back in place.  We are grateful.

Bro. Jerry said Louise Morris was awake/alert today but is very weak.  The medical folks do not think she will be here much longer.  Louise is one of the finest ladies I have ever known!  Pray for her and the family.

Bro. Jerry Whitmore e-mailed me to say that he & Miss Gloria, Jim Chinners, and Bro. Johnny Tucker had all arrived at the Mobile airport on time (2:10PM) today.  Praise the Lord!  Bro. Jack & Joe Bailey were supposed to arrive in Huntsville at 4:00PM and I assume they did.  Terry Rainey, Eddie Burdette, Mark Mast, & Terry Nappier (I have been spelling his name wrong – my apologies!) all landed in Atlanta.  Terry & Eddie have a three hour drive home, Terry Nappier should be flying now and I think Mark should be in the air too.  Keep praying for safety in travel.

Edna Glover broke her wrist.  The doctor will put her to sleep this morning to reset her hand.  Pray that will go well.

Bro. Jerry & Bro. Kerry went to visit with Gage, his mother, and Pattie last night.  They continue to need our prayer support.

Bro. Kerry visited Louise Morris and said she was awake but did not have much to say.  Keep praying for Louise.

Tonight begins the quest by Bro. Chris to make 10,000 free throws in 24 hours – not happening!  It all starts at 11:11PM and ends at 11:11PM tomorrow night.  Pray that everything goes well and lots of funds are raised for local missions.

The fourth pastors’ conference in Guatemala is now history.  All of the men and Miss Gloria did a great job!  We were blessed with some really neat gifts from the participants.  Pastor Jack Bailey said it was the best pastors’ conference he has ever been a part of in Guatemala.  Thanks to all those who helped make it possible.

Six folks left the mission house at 4:00AM this morning and the other five of us will leave at 8:00AM.  I do not get back to Mobile until 10:18PM while Mark Mast arrives in Minneapolis at 10:30PM.  He will then have a six hour drive on Saturday.  Pray for safety in travel for all of us.

AU and Bama have big games tomorrow.  Should be fun.  USM plays against SMU.  (Put that in for Chris & Courtney)
