FRIDAY, 4/26/13 (UPDATED)

I was wrong about Danny & Julie’s dad.  He suffered a heart attack and they are going to be (or already have) putting a stent in his heart.

Also wrong about Rob Nevin’s mother as she had already been sent to a convalescent home but was sent back to the hospital almost immediately.  She is now in an ICU.  She is in serious (my word) condition.

Pray for these needs.  Thanks!

FRIDAY, 4/26/13

Visited Sara Ladnier yesterday and she is doing good in her recovery from her surgery.  It is “possible” that she will be discharged from the hospital this weekend.

Lisa and I visited Miss Edith Kelley yesterday afternoon.  She was in very good spirits and Mr. J.B. was doing well too.

Danny Cole and Julie McGath’s dad was taken to the hospital late yesterday afternoon.  It appears that everything is okay and he could be discharged today.

Liz Cole’s sister-in-law, Tanya, is still in need of a miracle.

Rob Nevin’s mother has been in the hospital and it appears that she will most likely going to a convalescent home.

I learned yesterday that Kevin Vice’s mother is now in a convalescent home.

The service at the Mission of Hope hosted by the Friendship family takes place tonight beginning at 7:00PM.  (The bus is out of commission so it obviously will not be transporting folks from the church to the Mission)  Bro. Jim Chinners will be preaching in tonight’s service.

I am a very blessed pastor!  Last night, more than 30 members of the Friendship family attended the worship service at 1st Baptist Moss Point in part to support me.  I was so humbled and honored!  Thank you to those who took the time to come support me with your presence.  Thank you to those who prayed.  At least the music was good – thanks Bob & Chris Henley!

I do not do Facebook but I do have sources from time to time.  Word in the FB world is that Alisha Vice’s status has been changed from single (but looking) to “in a relationship!”  Goes all the way to the other side of the world to find a guy from Mississippi (not exactly true but it makes for a good story).  Folks, it will not last!  Why?  He will eventually meet Rita!  LOL!

Sam Schjott listened for the first time in his life to “Swap Shop” on WOSM 103.5 yesterday.  It changed him!  It also cost him as he bought an exercise bike and a collection of old TV Guides!

Grocery shopping, grass cutting, and gardening are all calling my name.  Charles attended the service last night and then informed me that the least I could do would be to weed eat/mow his yard today – wow!

I pray that you will have a great Friday with Jesus!
