BECKY HATCHER’S MOTHER

As I was typing the entry for today earlier this morning, I kept thinking that I was leaving someone off the list but I could not make myself think of it.  While I was in the garden, I spent some time praying and it dawned on me that Becky’s mother suffered a possible stroke this past Friday night.  She is in a Hattiesburg, MS hospital.  Pray for her.

I will get an update today from Becky.

MONDAY, 6/24/13

We were blessed with another good day in our services yesterday.  God is faithful.  We saw one public profession of faith as a result of the student Bible study last Wednesday night.  We thank God for the increase.

The doctors will not take Tanya Love off of life support today.  That decision will be made at a later date.  Keep praying for the family.

Alivia Fox had her tonsils and adenoids surgically removed last week.  She was not able to attend church yesterday.  Pray for her, Tiff, and Mitchel.

Lisa Thompson begins her chemotherapy treatments today.  I hope to get an update from Chastity and Courtney this week.

Miss Nell remains in a convalescent facility.  I found out yesterday that Ralph Rogers is there as well.  Lord willing, I will check on these folks today.

It was good to see Kent Blaylock in our early service yesterday.  Bro. Kerry was able to attend our second service.  Speaking of Bro. Kerry, it is a blessing to see those who are leading our music program during his absence.  They are doing a good job.

Tony Hacker told me that he and I made the big screen last week.  WPMI ran a story on Pastor Mel Hacker’s peanuts and it really was about GRACE Ministries with several pictures from previous trips.  You can go to WPMI’s website and type in Mel Hacker in the search box to view the report.  I am expecting royalties!

The garden is hopping right now and I thank God for His blessings.  Did I ever make a crucial mistake in Saturday’s blog!  Daphne says that she and Ann shucked more corn last week than anyone on this hill but were not included on the list.  (I was just going by the list Deidra gave me – or something like that!)  Of course, my garden pales in comparison to Will & Amy Reynold’s and Dr. Jack Bailey’s!  One day, I hope to be like them!  Waiting on daylight to pick okra and pull the last of the corn.  Peas this afternoon.

The chicken coop is no operational yet.  However, we got three dozen eggs yesterday.  Pretty good production!  (Thanks Herbert & Peggy!)

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
