It is here! Pastor Jack Bailey will stand behind the pulpit in our auditorium this morning and for the next four nights, Lord willing, to preach the Word to us. Pray for him! Pray for one another. Pray for revival. Attend! Invite! Pray!
Talked to Phillip Turner last night about his brother. There were signs of improvement yesterday. Keep praying!
Talked to Miss Helen Furby yesterday afternoon. They are doing as well as can be considering everything. Pray for the Spiller family.
The men’s breakfast was attended by 23. Bro. Jim, Bro. Benny, and Brad did a nice job with the program. Plans call for another breakfast on Saturday, 9/7.
After the breakfast, I spent until dark thirty working in the yards around here. Can you believe Charles had me rake his yard after I mowed it? Said he did not like the dead grass on top as it does not look good and he wanted Dr. Jack & Miss June to be impressed! Wow! (That is what I said too!)
Soy did not help? No! Folks, I had rather cut grass, rake grass, weed eat, pull up grass by hand for weeks as do what Soy did all day yesterday. He painted! Has decided now that he wants to be like Bernard when he grows up! Wow, what ambition! LOL!
He did mow on Friday which I think probably scared the chickens thus no egg yesterday.
Members of the Friendship family – you are needed in our services today and tonight! Remember, we will not have Discipleship Training tonight. Deacons meet at 5:00PM in my office. Baptism as a part of our evening service.
