Eula Mae called yesterday to say that Edwin’s pneumonia had cleared up and he would be moved back to the convalescent facility. I do not know if that took place yesterday or will take place today.
Visited with Jennie Riviere yesterday morning. She was discharged later in the day. Do not know what the doctors ultimately decided about her situation.
Laurie Chandler’s father remains hospitalized as does Miss Bryant.
Did not know until yesterday morning that Bob Henley has been in local hospital since last week. Joey Switzer said last night that he had a rough day yesterday.
Karen McGriff’s nephew, Drew, was life flighted from the Montgomery area to Atlanta yesterday.
Miss Kathleen Henderson has been in and out of the hospital in recent days with her COPD.
Miss Mazie Wilson is in a convalescent home facility. The doctors think it is simply a matter of time due to the fluid retention.
We enjoyed a good day in our services yesterday/last night. The attendance was good and the spirit was very good too.
Mission of Hope service tomorrow night, 10/25, beginning at 7:00PM at the mission. Everyone is invited.
Our first “pink out” takes place this Sunday morning, 10/27, during our 10:30AM service. Carla Kyser and Chastity Touchstone will be our special guests. We will focus on the power of prayer. Join us.
Upward basketball evaluations this Saturday from 3:00 – 6:00PM in the CAB.
Hallelujah Festival next Thursday, 10/31, from 6:00 – 8:00PM in the CAB. Bags of candy and workers needed.
Lazaro and I are scheduled to fly to Detroit this morning and then drive across Michigan to attend the annual GRACE Ministries pig roast tonight at the Vriesland Reformed Church in Zeeland. Lazaro will be speaking on behalf of GRACE Ministries. I will fly back tomorrow and Lazaro will remain in Michigan until Tuesday when he flies back to Guatemala.
