WEDNESDAY, 10/1/14

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 62:6-65:25 Philippians 2:19-3:3 Psalm 73:1-28 Proverbs 24:13-14

Good morning from hot El Salvador!  This entry is being posted way late but there is a legitimate reason.  We did not have access to the internet until shortly before 9:00AM Alabama time and we were going into a session at 9:00AM.  We are now in a fifteen minute break thus the reason for it being posted now.

Jody Johnson had surgery yesterday.  She did well and should come home today.

Caryn Suthoff came home yesterday and, per Rusty, was doing ok last night.

Martha Patrick is thinking she will be discharged from the hospital at some point today.

Daphne had labs this morning.  At this time, I do not have the results.  Praying for a zero!

Men’s breakfast this Saturday morning in the fellowship hall beginning at 8:00AM.

If you ordered a “Caring for Caryn” t-shirt, you may pick that up this Saturday, 10/4, from 10:00AM until noon in the CAB.  Or, members of the Friendship family can get their shirts at church on Sunday.  Questions?  Contact Kayla Hatcher.

Our student ministry will be serving lunch this Sunday, 10/5.  Here is the e-mail sent to me by Bro. Chris – “today, 10/1, is the last day to Pre-Order Sunday Lunches for this upcoming Sunday.  Menu: Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll, Dessert.  They can fill out a form in the foyer or office, or they can call/text me at 251-210-7018.”

I am probably forgetting something but time is up.  I will update the conference happenings tomorrow.
