“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 1-2; Galatians 5

Well today is voting day in Alabama.  I will be glad when 7:00PM has come and gone!  I do plan on voting.  It is always a challenging experience for me as the poll workers harass me.  Can they do that?

Went yesterday and took care of the financial arrangements for Mr. Smith’s cremation.  Again, I very much appreciate the Friendship family for giving graciously to meet this need.  I also appreciate Rita Broome’s help in this matter.  Rita is a very compassionate lady.

Speaking of Rita, she and a few others have been providing food for the Smith family.  If you would like to help in this ministry then simply contact Rita.

Sonny Bates is now into his second week of radiation treatments.

Robert Baria remains hospitalized but should be moved to another facility at some point this week.

Lisa was examined by the doctor yesterday.  The casts were removed and both wrists/hands were x-rayed.  The doctor said everything looked good and all of the bones had stayed in place.  Her right arm was really bruised.  New casts were put on her arms and the plan is to leave them in place for three more weeks.  If all is well, he will then remove the right cast and replace it with some type of a brace.  The left cast will remain in place for a total of eight weeks and then he may replace it with the same type brace for the final four weeks.  The best news we heard was “no surgery” because everything is healing properly.  We are thankful!

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus!
