WEDNESDAY, 9/27/17

“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 3-4; Galatians 6

Normal schedule this morning and evening.  My prayer is that the members of the Friendship family will be found faithful.  So many of you are and I do appreciate it!

Keep praying for Robert Baria.

Wendy Johnston’s uncle passed away on Sunday morning.  The visitation with the family takes place tonight and the service in the morning.  Everything from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  Pray for the Levi Hopkins family.

Another wonderful meal for the Turrentine family last night.  The skinny girl did good!  We had turnip greens soup.  Folks, that was new one on me.  Am I in alone in that regard?  Again, we are a very thankful family.  The Friendship family has been very good to us.  (FYI, I avoided the turnip greens soup!)

Well, one election is over and now we get to hear the Democrats and Republicans scream at each other until December 12 – how exciting!  Obviously, the results from yesterday’s election upset the apple cart as far as the political establishment is concerned.  Just proves that the millions of dollars do not always equal victory.

The Dodgers secured home field throughout the NLCS with their win last night.  Now they need to fend off the Indians (I am offended by that name!) for the same right in the Series should they make it that far.  However, Bobby & the boys will place anyone, any place, any time!  (Court, you like that?). Go Bobby – third base coach of the year!

Can you believe that Bill Kendrick is once again wearing the very same socks he was wearing when his beloved “Black Bears” beat Alabama three seasons ago?  (How did Bill’s son, Will, turn out so right when it comes to college football?)

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.
