A Thanksgiving box packing party takes place this morning at 8:00AM in the Preschool Building. The food boxes will be distributed following our 10:30AM service tomorrow.
Sunday School teachers/workers meeting this morning at 9:00AM. Bro. Jerry says it will be brief.
Thanksgiving meal for children and parents tomorrow immediately following our 10:30AM worship service. Takes place in the CAB.
Community Thanksgiving service tomorrow night beginning at 6:00PM at the Grand Bay Church of God. Community choir rehearsal at 4:30PM also at GBCOG. I am in hopes that the Friendship family will be very well represented in the choir and in the congregation. Will you join me there? Remember, nothing on our campus tomorrow afternoon/evening.
By the way, nothing on our campus this coming Wednesday, 11/27, either. Church office will be closed Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. If things go as planned, our family will be traveling to Hartselle on Friday for the Turrentine Thanksgiving/Christmas combo.
Lord willing, I will be traveling to Tuscaloosa today for Alabama’s final home game of the 2019 season. All of the Hutto family, all of the Taylor family, Gina, Dana & Jayden will be attending too. So, we hope to have a good family time. I do like the 11:00AM start times for the home games so I get home at a much more decent hour.
Regular schedule on our campus tomorrow morning. Let’s fill the house! Remember, Pastor Mack Morris will be our special guest speaker on Sunday morning, December 8.
By the way, my thoughts on the Chick-fil-A situation have not changed. I still feel they have caved in to the liberal left. I signed the petition on afa.net.
