    Nahgmeh Abedini, wife of an Iranian-American pastor imprisoned in Iran, will risk arrest to draw President Obama’s attention to her jailed husband.

    Saeed Abedini returned to Iran to visit family, was arrested and after a sham trial was sentenced to eight years in prison for his previous work in the house church movement while he was previously a citizen in Iran.

    Now, a movement is under way to make it harder for President Obama to ignore the jailed pastor.

    Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition tells OneNewsNow: “We are delighted to announce that Nahgmeh Abedini on March 8,which is a Saturday, is coming to the White House after being ignored by the President. And she’s going to kneel in front of the White House and risk arrest.”

    Mahoney says this latest attempt to free the Iranian-American is an eight-week campaign called the “Hebrews 13:3 Project.”

    The effort is already unfolding in front of the White House, where police arrested Mahoney and other Christian leaders January 13 while they demonstrated civil disobedience.

    Mahoney is also inviting all Americans who believe in religious freedom to join them in the event. For those who cannot, he urges Christians to spend part of that Saturday in prayer for the
