Amy is in labor & delivery at the hospital waiting to be checked by her doctor.  I will update on this same post should there be any changes in her situation today. 

9:30AM – This message just came to me from Miss Kittie:  Sarah Nell just called.  The doctor came in.  Amy is having contractions, but he put her on drip and will observe her for several hours, and hope that the contractions will stop.

Late afternoon – the contractions stopped so the doctor sent Amy home with more medications designed to keep her from going into labor.
