We enjoyed a good day in our services yesterday.  Once again, there was a liberty to preach.  I thought the folks who shared about their GRACE trip did a very nice job.  We thank God for His blessings throughout the day.

The memorial service for Earl Kirschenman went well.  Thank you to those who attended and to those who helped with the food.  A special “thank you” to Miss Vinnie Brewer for coordinating this ministry.

The proposed budget for 2014 – 15 was adopted last night.  I appreciate the hard work of our Finance Committee  members.  We thank God for His continued blessings in the financial area.

Bro. Johnny Tucker meets with his doctor this morning to see if his defibrillator needs to be replaced.

Word came from Rita Broome last night that Cristy Leytham’s cancer has now spread to even more parts of her body.  She is supposed to be discharged from the hospital today.  There is really nothing more that can be done by her staying in the hospital.

It was encouraging to see Robert Baria in our morning service yesterday.  It was also good to have Gene & Gena Davis in the morning service – seemed to be right where they belong!

Obviously, our website remains down.  Bro. Chris will work on it this week.  In the meanwhile, would you tell others how you accessed the blog?  We shared it in our service last night but those who were not present may not know.

I mentioned seven bones in the church yesterday.  Someone came to me after one of the services and said “I am a hip bone” and then proceeded to make things right.  Which bone are you?

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
