Today’s Bible reading – Lamentations 4:1-5:22 Hebrews 2:1-18 Psalm 103:1-22 Proverbs 26:23

Roseanne Baria came through her knee replacement surgery very well.  She should be discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

C is being sent to the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX for a second opinion.  This comes as at the request of her oncologist.  Most likely, Rusty & C will travel either Monday or Tuesday.  Nothing in concrete yet.

Lisa Thompson will perhaps be discharged today.  I think I am correct in saying that her most recent problems stemmed mainly from medication.  She has a very positive outlook.  Brenda is sticking beside her very faithfully.

Garrett Keating attends our church regularly.  He has been on three GRACE trips with us.  His father, Tony, had heart surgery yesterday.  They did five bypasses.  He did well.

Leslie’s father, Bobby Howard, is still having issues with his blood count.  Feeling good but count is too low.

The most recent round of chemotherapy shots has knocked Daphne back a bit.  Yesterday she experienced a lot of sores in her mouth.  I will take her today for labs.  We are praying for a zero!  I do not want to see her move to the stronger chemo.

When all was said and done, we had thirteen folks come last night to be trained in using the AED.  Included in that number was two deacons and one staff member.  David Garmon did a nice job of training us.  Our hope is that we never even have to take the units out of the boxes.  However, if we do, we should have someone present in each service who has been trained.  Thank you to those who attended and to Marisa for feeding us.

There also appeared to be a good number helping last night to set up for the Hallelujah Festival.  It starts at 5:00PM tonight and concludes at 8:00PM.  Any, and all, help appreciated.

Breakfast in the morning at 7:00AM followed by the work day at 8:00AM.  I believe Jeff Holifield is going to bring his hay rake.  We need to trim some hedges, wash the buses, and make sure everything is cleaned up from the HF.  Absolute end time is noon but hopefully we get out of there earlier.  Still looking for an electrician to tackle the security lights.

It was good to see the Saints win last night and take the lead in their division.  FSU just finds a way to win week in and week out. I may make my predictions on Saturday’s games in the morning.  May not.  I do know Bama will not get beat this Saturday.

Remember, clocks are to be set back one hour tomorrow night.  I am with Senator Rusty Glover on this one!

I pray that you will have a great Friday with Jesus.
