SUNDAY, 10/28/18

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

We are on a regular schedule today – morning and evening.  I am praying for the members of the Friendship family to be faithful today.

We will have an informational meeting today at 4:30PM in the auditorium.  Just laying out the plans for the next quarter and sharing what God is doing in our midst.

Candy needed for Wednesday’s Hallelujah Festival.

We have seven men who have committed to travel to Port St Joe, Florida tomorrow to help the church family at Long Avenue Baptist Church recover from the damages sustained due to Hurricane Michael.  It would be nice to have three or four more men travel with us but God knows and I trust Him.  Pray for these men as it is going to be a very long day – leaving Grand Bay at 3:00AM and most likely not returning until 11:00PM.  I am asking the men making this trip to meet with me today at 5:30PM in the 20-29 Sunday School room.

Would you pray for the family at Long Avenue this morning?  This will be their first worship service since the hurricane hit.  They will be using a chapel belonging to another ministry as their buildings are not usable at this point in time.

Our next mission trip to Guatemala will take place the dates of December 1 – 8, 2018.  We have one opening and can have two more.  Anyone interested has to make a firm commitment by this Tuesday, October 30.  Trip cost will be nine hundred to one thousand dollars.  Interested?  Contact me via email at pastor@friendshipfamily.net.  First come, first served.

As I have said all along – the World Series is rigged!  LOL!

I pray that you will have a great Sunday with Jesus.
