Tuesday Update 9/8

Good morning,

We are back to the grind after a long weekend.  Hopefully everyone is moving and grooving this morning.  A big thanks to Bro. Kenny Lingle for driving the bus for late-night bowling.  We brought 45 students and a good big of college to late-night bowling joined with 20+ from FBCBLB and 20+ from FBC Pascagoula.  It was a really good time and the students enjoyed it thoroughly.

Because of bowling we had our largest crowd in Discipleship Training (15) and we were even missing some regulars.  It is a great time of learning more about the Lord, but it is also a great time of fellowship with other believers.  Encourage students to attend.

More below and there is an attendance schedule below also for Wednesday nights.

Cooking for Alma Bryant Football – Homecoming Week

On Thursday, Sept 17 and Friday, Sept 18 we will be cooking for the Alma Bryant Football Team.  Thursday’s dish will be Lasagna, Green Beans, Corn, Salad, and Dessert.  Friday’s dish will be Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Roll.  If you are open to help serve or cook please let me know.  I would love the students to be involved in serving if possible on both dates.

Yard Sale & Moving Mission Projects

On Saturday, September 19th Ms. Sharon Jardee is hosting a Yard Sale at her house and needs some students to help her work it.  All of the sales she is donating to the youth ministry.  Then on Saturday, September 26th she will be moving into her new home and will be needing some strong arms to help move some furniture and appliances.  I will detail more in another email also.

Have a blessed week and let me know if you have any questions
