Good morning everyone,
The new church year is here and the new teachers are in place for Sunday School. There are still available openings for you to help with a Sunday School class and if you are interested please let me know and we can discuss about those respective classes.
Youth Works have left the building and I am thankful that they chose us this summer as their place of worship. Hopefully the connections that I have made with some of the staff can open up more opportunities in the future for them to do some foreign missions with us.
Below you will find some upcoming things to take note for the Foundation.

Feeding GBMS Staff – Food Donations Welcomed
This Wednesday morning at 8:00am the youth ministry has plans to feed the GBMS Staff. If you would like to help cook, serve, or minister to the staff at GBMS let me know and there will be a place to serve.
Danville Mission Trip Weekend – August 8-10
We will be taking 12 to Danville, AL to join with their church in helping in the Block Party this upcoming weekend. Plans are to drive to Danville on Friday evening and return to Grand Bay on Sunday night.
Back to Normal – August 6th
This Wednesday night we will transition back to normalcy The Junior High students that will be going into the 6th grade – 8th grade will join in with Bro. Jim Chinners in the youth building for service. The Senior High students that will be going into the 9th grade – 12th grade will be with myself (Bro. Chris) in the Gym for service.
Wade Morris coming August 17-20 & Fellowship afterwards in Gym
I am really excited about Wade Morris coming to speak. Do a google search on him and you will see that (old school talk imminent) this dude ain’t no scrub.
We will have a fellowship after every evening in the Gym for an hour after service. Each night we will have some sort of food & drinks for students 6-12th grades.
GRACE Trip 2015 (Possible Dates: June 18-25)
Bro. Teddie has not posted the dates for the first trip but I plan on pushing our 9-12th grade students to attend the GRACE Trip during the week of June 18-25. It will probably cost around $1000 to attend and we will do some fundraising, but plan on saving now for that trip.
There will be a $100 deposit that is due by the end of August and if you do not get that in you will not have a spot as people are waiting in line to go to our mission house in Guatemala. (you’ve been warned)
