Good morning, This is two weeks in the making but I won’t make you suffer too much information. The crawfish boil was fantastic IMO. We had lots of new students show up that I had never met before and some that haven’t been to church in a while. Bro. Jonny Gaston was a big hit also with his snow cone machine. This upcoming Sunday we will have our High-School graduation recognition during the 10:30a service. I encourage you to pray for these Seniors as well as attend the Sunday service to encourage them in their next step in life. Last minute addition to events: We will be going bowling on Sunday, May 24th after the evening service. Students will have to attend the evening service and bring $5. More detailed info below. Good morning, This week is crawfish boil Wednesday. I plan on going to Bozo’s today to order the Crawfish and then to Walmart to get other supplies. We didn’t have any offers of donations from the Crawfish Boil Requests sent out last week, but we will be able to provide what we were asking for. Everyone that is signed up for GO Camp 2015 should have a letter in hand. If not, please let me know and i’ll give you your balance information. My apologies as I did not get the High-School Seniors letters sent out last week. That will be on task today. The Evangelism training went really well with Jonny Gaston the past 3 Sunday nights, but was not well attended. I took a lot of a notes and learned some things from his experience in the field. He really does have a great heart and I am glad we as a church are partnering with him. You all know how much Bro. Teddie loves girls soccer, well the girls of Faith Academy thrashed Alma Bryant last week but got knocked out of the playoffs in triple OT shootout. Too bad for him there won’t be any to watch until next soccer season. Good morning, If you didn’t see the previous email from Thursday, The Foundation Crawfish Boil is set. It is going to be next Wednesday, April 29 in the CAB. Wednesday schedule is still the same but all students will meet in the Gym. I will be sending payment reminders to all those signed up this week on the upcoming payment for GO Camp 2015 which is May 3rd. If you haven’t signed up, you can, but will need to pay the full cost when signing up which is $229/person. I will also be sending out letters to our High-School Seniors for their recognition service on Sunday, May 17th. There will be a note in the News & Notes and on the screens this upcoming Sunday with instructions for those I may miss. Good morning, Had to put the insoles into another pair of shoes this morning as yesterday’s pair was still a little bit wet. Also, if anyone wants to go mud riding you can in my driveway. The NOLA Day Trip was great. The best part was seeing the students that went on the trip in church on Sunday morning and for Sunday school. They were exhausted but still showed up. Crawfish anyone? Good morning fam, It is Spring Break for our students in both private and public schools. This Wednesday night we will have a joint service with Junior High & Senior High in the Gym. Times are the same but we will not meet in the youth building. This Wednesday is the last night to signup for the New Orleans Day Trip that will take place on Saturday, April 11th. All I need is for you to contact me with a confirmation that you are going. Any requests after Wednesday will not be able to go as I have to call in reservations to various places.
