Good morning all, Our Christmas party went exceptionally well I think. It was the first time in a while that we had Levi and the band play but I still do not think the students responded well to the musical worship, even though they were Christmas songs. The photo booth was a hit thanks to Jack and Kerri Lastorka’s props box and Tina Wilkinson’s backdrop. The photos are on The Foundation Facebook page (facebook.com/thefoundationym). Thanks to everyone who helped with the food also as the students really liked it. Three days until Christmas, are you ready??? Basketball season is done for the rest of the 2014 year and will pickup on Saturday, January 3rd. One of my prayers is that I would have the opportunity to fill the league coordinator position for Mobile area teams one day. All of our teams are currently winless, with the exception of one tournament game for the Older team. I keep telling myself I’ve been through this before. Good morning everyone, 2014 is wrapping up quickly as we are 10 days from Christmas and 16 from 2015. Private and Public School students should be taking EQTs this week so please be in prayer for those students to stay focused. We rescheduled our youth committee meeting until next Monday in lieu of the service this evening and night for Caryn Suthoff. There will also be a joint Sunday School meeting to discuss all the upcoming youth events in January. Be looking out for this date to make sure your students are there. Good morning everyone, First, apologies for not sending an update last week. Monday I had to take Truett to the doctor’s office because of bronchitis, Tuesday I took off, and Wednesday Nicole had to go to the doctor first thing as she got sick. Thank the Lord I am Asian and have a great immune system, not that either correlates with each other, I’m just thankful to be born with dark skin. Below are events that are coming up. Be praying for our Winter Woods Retreat. We are getting a lot of interest from Junior and Senior High students. I’m praying for a great couple days. In 140 characters or less: – Older RA Basketball Team plays in the St. Patrick Catholic Tournament this Tues & Thurs – Upward Basketball starts this month. Gym closed for Upward practices every evening. – No Wednesday Service next week – Junior High is getting really close to 50 in service.
