Good morning everyone, Today is a special day for the Taylor family as Truett turns 3 years of age. Time flies when you are having fun. My bride has done a great job of raising a perfect boy, all the bad he gets from me. Thank you to all the folks that helped make the Sunday morning breakfast possible. All I heard from students were, “Man! We need to do this every week!” They thoroughly enjoyed it and I think everyone got plenty to eat. My prayer this week is that you will reflect each and every day on the life of Jesus Christ as it led up to the cross. Jim and I will both be speaking about the life of Jesus in his final days on Wednesday night as we lead up to the Easter Sunday services on April 5th. Hello everyone, If you missed last night’s service you missed a great word from Pastor Lee. I met him last year and was thoroughly impressed by the ministry in Montana they lead. I would ask you to begin to pray that we could get our students to Montana in some form or fashion for ministry there in the future. This Sunday we gave out information to the students in Sunday School about the NOLA Trip. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Good morning, Yesterday was a really good day of services, and it was a joy to share last night in the evening service. From the various reports the Valentine’s Dinner & Show went remarkably well. A big thanks goes to all those that were involved. I heard of some people saying it was one of the best steaks they have eaten in a while, it was melt in your mouth, etc, and that they thoroughly enjoyed the show. Good afternoon, Coming in a little late on this email as I went on some hospital visits early this morning. Alexus Blackwell was admitted early this morning to Springhill hospital but should come home today. Total purchased tickets for the Valentine’s Dinner & Show is at 96. Our goal was 100 but maybe we will just fix 4 extra plates to meet it. An early thanks to all those that purchased, it’s going to be a great night. GO Camp meeting was quick and easy last night. Good morning everyone, February is here and it is a joy to celebrate my 6th year with the Friendship Family. I wouldn’t have it any other way. RA Basketball is pretty much done for the 2014-2015 season and it was a good one. A lot of new players from a lot of different backgrounds joined the program this year. All in all we had about 30 guys that would participate fully on 3 different teams. A little different this year as over half of our guys attended other churches faithfully but did not have a basketball program or was of a different denomination. I’m thankful that basketball was the incentive to bring me to Friendship over 15 years ago as an 11th grader and is why I have such a passion for the RA program today. We have one more game with our older boys on Thursday, February 12 in Biloxi, MS vs. St. Patrick Catholic. It is their senior night and we are hoping to spoil it. We do have a backup plan if we don’t afterward to go eat Chinese Buffet. This year our focus has been to always have a backup plan.
