Good morning, Welcome to the last month of 2014. I’m not sure about you but I am excited for Christmas and celebrating it with our newest addition. Good morning, Happy early Thanksgiving to all of you. I hope this week will be a great week for you and your family as well as a break for all of our students. Keeping this email short below are a couple updates to keep in mind. – Winter Woods Retreat Signup is going on now. Go to http://events.foundationflow.com to signup or get a form on Sunday. Dates are 12/29-12/31. – No Wednesday night service this Wednesday. Good morning everyone, First, apologies for not sending an update last week. Monday I had to take Truett to the doctor’s office because of bronchitis, Tuesday I took off, and Wednesday Nicole had to go to the doctor first thing as she got sick. Thank the Lord I am Asian and have a great immune system, not that either correlates with each other, I’m just thankful to be born with dark skin. Below are events that are coming up. Be praying for our Winter Woods Retreat. We are getting a lot of interest from Junior and Senior High students. I’m praying for a great couple days. In 140 characters or less: – Older RA Basketball Team plays in the St. Patrick Catholic Tournament this Tues & Thurs – Upward Basketball starts this month. Good morning everyone, I want to give a big thanks to all the students and adults that helped with the Hallelujah festival. There was a load of folks that came through this year and everything I heard was positive. A large portion of the student body that helped were the students that ride the buses on Sunday mornings. It really blesses me to see a group of students that will come to church without the push from parental figures in their lives. Below is some information about GO Camp 2014, Winter Woods Retreat, Fundraisers, and events coming up. Before we know it 2015 will be in full gear so the time is now to get ready for it. Good morning everyone, Currently we have a website, Facebook, Twitter, App on the Windows, App Store, & Google Play Store, Text Alerts, weekly news & notes on Sundays & Wednesdays, and a Monday morning email broadcast. I don’t plan on calling everyone on the telephone or sending out weekly mail to your homes so please take advantage of staying up to date with some of these services we offer. (Links to all of these are listed below) We have another great week coming up ministry and event wise for the students. This Friday night we will have our annual Hallelujah festival in the CAB and hope for many of the students to be in attendance helping out with the festival. After the festival we will be taking the students to Seward Farms in Lucedale for the haunted maze. Cost is $15. Detailed information below and more info on upcoming events. Good morning, Basketball practicing continues this week for our 7-12th graders that are involved in the basketball program. I have been talking to more students about getting involved and a lot are interested. Please join me in praying for some others to help out with the program. Ethan McGath was a huge help last year and plans to help when he can this year but works on Saturdays. My goal is to bring these boys closer to Christ through basketball.
