We are full swing into the month of October and we have a couple of events coming up this month to be aware of and to be promoting to our students.
Be mindful that this Wednesday night is the last day to sign up for Praise in the Park. If a form and $15 is not turned in by this Wednesday night then you will not be able to go with us (if there is an us). Currently we have zero signups and if we do not have any signup by this Wednesday then I will be spending my Saturday doing honey-do’s.
Sunday is HOPE Sunday and I have been encouraging all students to attend this service. It is going to be a Spirit filled morning I believe. Sunday night is going to be a little different with a service at 5:00pm and Fellowship in the CAB at 6:00pm.

Praise in the Park – October 17th – Cost $15
Sign up sheets can be picked and have to be turned in Wednesday night along with their $15 payment. This is a great all-day concert event at Lucedale City Park.
HOPE Sunday – Sunday, October 18th – 10:30a
This upcoming Sunday, October 18th we will have a special service during our 10:30a service time honoring Caryn Hyatt Suthoff, hearing testimonies, and focusing our attention on Christ being the HOPE through the battles of cancer. I hope that you will join us and bring your students to this service.
Hallelujah Festival – October 31st from 5-7pm
We need students to come to and help run the Hallelujah Festival on October 31st from 5-7pm. Students need to be there at 4:00p to get their booth’s ready and help with anything else that needs setting up. Plan is to do something afterwards with our students, but we will not be going to Seward Farms as it closes at 9pm and the costs for what they offer IMO is too much for some of our students.
