Coming in a little late on this email as I went on some hospital visits early this morning. Alexus Blackwell was admitted early this morning to Springhill hospital but should come home today.
Total purchased tickets for the Valentine’s Dinner & Show is at 96. Our goal was 100 but maybe we will just fix 4 extra plates to meet it. An early thanks to all those that purchased, it’s going to be a great night.
GO Camp meeting was quick and easy last night. You can go to camp.foundationflow.com for more information on how to signup and the payment details. We will also have it in the Sunday School classes this upcoming Sunday for students to grab an information sheet.

Valentine’s Dinner & Show – Friday, February 13th
Students need to be at the church at 5:00pm to be a server and stay the entirety of the night to be credited with funds raised from the night.
GO Camp 2015 – Signup before March 8th for $199 price
Students can signup now online at http://gocamp2015.eventbrite.com.
– Payment can be made via credit/debit but charges will incur.
Payment plans are as followed if signing up by March 8th
o Deposit Due by Sunday, March 8th
o 1st Payment of $50 due by Sunday, April 5th (Easter Sunday)
o 2nd Payment of $50 due by Sunday, May 3rd
o 3rd Payment of $50 due by Sunday, June 7th
o Final Payment of $24 due by Sunday, July 5th
Students may also signup in Sunday School or on Wednesday night.
Mardi Gras & Winter Break
– MCPSS students will be out the week of Feb 16-20
– FAITH students will be out for Winter break on Friday, March 6th & Monday, March 9th
– The Taylor family will be on vacation from Feb 13-21.
NOLA Trip (Potential Date Saturday, April 11th)
Once it warms up I’d love to take the students to New Orleans for a day trip. We did this about 4 years ago and we had a great time. The Riverwalk has been renovated and it’s always good to eat a beignet at Cafe’ du Monde. Cost would be about $30 and would cover transportation, meal, and beignets.
Youth Pastor Summit – Dallas, TX (Open to youth leaders) – April 20-21st
Lifeway is putting on a FREE, yes free, conference for youth leaders in Dallas, TX on Monday & Tuesday, April 20-21st. There are some really great speakers that will be there and I believe any youth leader, as well as myself would benefit from attending this conference. The only cost would be food as we have a place to stay in Mckinney, TX. If you would be interested in attending please contact me. Have to be 18 years of age or older to attend.
