Welcome to June and summer break for the students. Nicole texted me this morning and said there was no one in car line and she has 7 students. I’m pretty sure this is a wasted day at MCPSS.
In the area of prayer I ask that you all pray for Sofia Arriola. She was not able to attend the Grand Bay Middle School awards ceremony because she was sick and has continued with this sickness since then. Randall has also caught it as well, so please pray for that household in the area of healing.
Danville Baptist crew is here with 20 folks and they are starting work at Light of the Village in Prichard, AL this morning. Pray for the rainy weather to slack off, and for them as they minister in and around this area.

Summer Open Gym & Soccer play
We will have some open days for students 6-12th grades to come play at the Gym and play soccer during the summer. Students will need to be signed up for the text message alerts or follow us online to find out. They will be sent out on Mondays during the weeks of summer.
GRACE Trip 1
We have a good number of students that will be going to Guatemala on June 11th. Please pray as these students embark on a journey that can be life changing and humbling.
Day on the Escatawpa River – June 27th
Plans are to take our students to the river on June 27th to Charles Persons’ place. He has a house on the river with a nice white sandy beach front, tables, chairs, kayaking equipments and more. It really is a nice place to spend the day. There will be no cost for this trip but it does depend on how high the river level is.
GO Camp – July 20-24
It’ll be here before you know it. We have a great youth camp planned this year for our students. I think they will thoroughly enjoy Austin Taylor leading worship and the various youth pastors sharing in word during the week. We have a lot of fun games, and it’s always a relaxing time away from the stress of the world to get closer to the Lord.
