Good morning,
Summer is in full swing as baseball tournaments, mission trips, vacations, and the such are the bulk of our 24 hour days. Reported from Alan Aldridge who took care of the Wednesday night service last week said that the Youth Works groups have enjoyed the Wednesday services and cannot wait to see what we have in store for this week. I’m back speaking so I’m not sure if their expectations will be met.
One of the hardest things is moving from High-school to college, even in the church, and sometimes there needs to be a little bit of push by us as leaders. I have talked with a few Seniors about this and they are not thrilled but will benefit from the move if they are faithful. From this Wednesday our Seniors will have 5 more Wednesdays with us and then the new church year starts. After that they can join with the other college/career students on Wednesday at Bro. Teddie’s at 7:30p. Help encourage them to attend this service. Free Food and great fellowship with the Word.
We have a couple things coming up before and after Youth Camp and those are detailed below
