Good morning, Our seniors are done with classes and the only ones left to walk the stage are the graduates from Faith Academy. Their ceremony will be this Thursday night at 7:00pm at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. We had a good crowd of students in service Sunday night as that was the requirement to go Late-Night bowling. Spanish Trail Lanes have been very kind over the years to allow us to rent the whole bowling alley as it gives us a good atmosphere to have fun with the students. Next week we will host the Danville Baptist Youth Group in our CAB for their mission trip, the next week we will have VBS, the next some of our students will be in Guatemala, etc….. Our summer is going to be jam packed as usual. Youth Works will be with us again this summer and I am excited to be able to host the 60-70 different students they bring each week from all across nation. GO Camp 2015 Signup is going on now. Good morning, Speaking for Bro. Jim and myself it was an honor to share in the services yesterday. Congrats to all the graduates that were honored yesterday. Graduations for our students start tomorrow with Theodore High and end next week with Faith’s. Pray for these students as they take the next steps in their life. The new church year will be here before you know it (starts in August) and we are looking for Sunday School teachers to fill some spots 6-12th grades. If you are interested I would like to talk with you so come find me or contact me. Brianne and Levi are getting married this summer and with that they are taking a break from camps. They have done a great job the last 2 years of directing our camp and I hope to see them a part of it in the future. I’m meeting with our new GO Camp directors today. Good morning, This is two weeks in the making but I won’t make you suffer too much information. The crawfish boil was fantastic IMO. We had lots of new students show up that I had never met before and some that haven’t been to church in a while. Bro. Jonny Gaston was a big hit also with his snow cone machine. This upcoming Sunday we will have our High-School graduation recognition during the 10:30a service. I encourage you to pray for these Seniors as well as attend the Sunday service to encourage them in their next step in life. Good morning, This week is crawfish boil Wednesday. I plan on going to Bozo’s today to order the Crawfish and then to Walmart to get other supplies. We didn’t have any offers of donations from the Crawfish Boil Requests sent out last week, but we will be able to provide what we were asking for. Everyone that is signed up for GO Camp 2015 should have a letter in hand. If not, please let me know and i’ll give you your balance information. My apologies as I did not get the High-School Seniors letters sent out last week. That will be on task today. The Evangelism training went really well with Jonny Gaston the past 3 Sunday nights, but was not well attended. I took a lot of a notes and learned some things from his experience in the field. He really does have a great heart and I am glad we as a church are partnering with him. You all know how much Bro. Teddie loves girls soccer, well the girls of Faith Academy thrashed Alma Bryant last week but got knocked out of the playoffs in triple OT shootout. Too bad for him there won’t be any to watch until next soccer season. Good morning, If you didn’t see the previous email from Thursday, The Foundation Crawfish Boil is set. It is going to be next Wednesday, April 29 in the CAB. Wednesday schedule is still the same but all students will meet in the Gym. I will be sending payment reminders to all those signed up this week on the upcoming payment for GO Camp 2015 which is May 3rd. If you haven’t signed up, you can, but will need to pay the full cost when signing up which is $229/person. I will also be sending out letters to our High-School Seniors for their recognition service on Sunday, May 17th. Good morning, Had to put the insoles into another pair of shoes this morning as yesterday’s pair was still a little bit wet. Also, if anyone wants to go mud riding you can in my driveway. The NOLA Day Trip was great. The best part was seeing the students that went on the trip in church on Sunday morning and for Sunday school. They were exhausted but still showed up. Crawfish anyone? Good morning everyone, Today is a special day for the Taylor family as Truett turns 3 years of age. Time flies when you are having fun. My bride has done a great job of raising a perfect boy, all the bad he gets from me. Thank you to all the folks that helped make the Sunday morning breakfast possible. All I heard from students were, “Man! We need to do this every week!” They thoroughly enjoyed it and I think everyone got plenty to eat. My prayer this week is that you will reflect each and every day on the life of Jesus Christ as it led up to the cross. Jim and I will both be speaking about the life of Jesus in his final days on Wednesday night as we lead up to the Easter Sunday services on April 5th. Hello everyone, If you missed last night’s service you missed a great word from Pastor Lee. I met him last year and was thoroughly impressed by the ministry in Montana they lead. I would ask you to begin to pray that we could get our students to Montana in some form or fashion for ministry there in the future.
