Good morning,
It was a joy to my heart to see us worship together with New Beginnings last night. No matter what the color or background people have, our hearts all the same; broken and in need of a Savior. I am thankful for Jesus and his sacrifice for everyone regardless of those characteristics.
This morning I had the great opportunity to speak to some of the Breitling Bears on Trustworthiness. Also, this morning, I am thankful I keep a change of clothes in my closet at work for wet days like this.
2016 Calendar Fundraiser starts this Sunday.
It’s Hallelujah Festival week and we need a bunch of students to help with the event. More details below on that and other upcoming events.

2016 Calendar Fundraiser
Students seeking to raise funds for Guatemala, Summer Youth Camp, or other events that we have with the youth ministry can participate in this fundraiser. Calendars can be picked up in the concession stand in the CAB in between services this Sunday morning. Students will get 10 calendars to sell along with a packet.
Cooking for Alma Bryant Band & Football Team – October 30th
We are cooking for the Alma Bryant Football Band and Football Team this Friday. If you can help out on this date I will need some help from 10am to 4pm. The meal will be Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, & Green Beans.
Hallelujah Festival – October 31st from 5-7pm (Coden Haunted House)
We need students to come to and help run the Hallelujah Festival on October 31st from 5-7pm. Students need to be there at 4:00p to get their booth’s ready and help with anything else that needs setting up. We will be taking car loads to the Coden Haunted House afterwards at the Coastal Response Center. Cost is $11 or $10 with a canned good.
Woodlawn Movie Day – Wednesday, November 11
MCPSS schools are out that day so we are going to take advantage of the day by taking students to see Woodlawn at Wynnsong 16. I am praying it is still in the movie theaters by then but if not we will plan something else. More details as this gets closer, but it will be a daytime movie.
