Last week I mentioned the new business in Mobile called “Get Air”. If you were planning on dropping anyone off there under the age of 18 you won’t be able to do that anymore as some fights broke loose and they have since changed their policy. That doesn’t affect us going, but figured you should know.
Currently we have 1 home that has agreed to hosting students during the D-Now Weekend March 18-20th. We need more than 1 so please let me know if you can host and if you have a preference for boys or girls.
Remember that starting this Sunday after morning service the CAB will be on lockdown for solely yard sale stuff.
I have been asked from a number of students if they could sell candy bars to raise funds for youth camp. I looked into World’s Finest Chocolate but to be able to make a profit we would have to order $2000+ worth of chocolate and I am not willing to risk that to make less than $1000 once we pay sales taxes, shipping, and risk potential theft of candies.
Lastly, Don’t forget about the current fundraiser going on also, all details below and more.

This is a great weekend for students to come together and really get connected with the Lord and other students. Jonny Gaston and Ralph Rimmer will be our speakers for the weekend and students will be staying at church members homes with a leader that will spend time in Bible study, build a core relationship, and help bring them closer to Christ.

Fundraisers
(TUFF) Transport Us & Floor Fix
This is a fundraiser that actually deals with both a Foundation and The Foundation. As you know, the CAB floor is in dire need of a renovation. Secondly, we are in need of transportation to youth camp (costs of it anyways). In the foyer there are envelopes numbered $1-$150.
In total, if all of those envelopes are taken and submitted with the amount on the envelope we will raise $11,325. From preliminary estimates that should be enough to pay for the resurfacing and lining of the CAB floor as well as rent the students a charter bus to Toccoa, GA.
If you would like to give please pray about the amount, grab an envelope from the foyer, and place it in the offering plate or the church office.
