This is mainly a time where our students can interact with their kids and bless them with some fun. We will have Inflatables, Hot Dogs, and the pool may even be open. Good morning, The Easter weekend may be over but the celebration of a Risen Savior should never be. Changing the way I send out these emails and post to the foundationflow.com page. Good cool morning to you, The Discipleship weekend was great. A full review is below so please check that out. This week is one of the most important weeks in the church year for any church as people will attend that normally do not attend church throughout the year. Be in prayer for this weekend’s events. GO Camp sign up forms and information was given out (hopefully) in all the Sunday School classes. We are praying for a large turnout this year to youth camp. Good morning, The Connect ‘n Unite Discipleship Weekend is only days away and there is one major change that has been made. We will not be staying in homes mainly because we didn’t get many homes to stay in, so we will be staying in the CAB for the weekend. We did have more students sign up this past weekend and I am hoping for some more this week. Friday we will be doing some mission work with the students. Currently we have two homes that we will be working at but if you know of others that need help with outdoors work (picking up sticks, yard cleanup, etc) please let me know. I’m not sure if we can get to it or not but we will try. More info below on other things and on another event that has been planned for Monday of Spring Break. Good morning, I apologize for not sending an update last week. Some of you know that I had a bacterial infection and I couldn’t get my mind wrapped around anything until near the end of the week. Definitely feels good to be over that. Thank you to all the Sunday school teachers that grind it out week in and week out. We had a load of students come this Sunday that helped empty out our morning breakfast. Lots of new faces and I pray they will continue to attend. On Wednesday we are back to regular schedule of services as the gym is clear of most of the yard sale stuff. I’ll be sending out a letter today to those who gave to the fundraiser we started at the Valentine’s Dinner explaining the change. There will also be another email detailing how you can participate in the fundraiser going forward. We still only have 1 home signed up to house students March 18-20th. If we do not have anymore by this upcoming Sunday then we will make other plans for our Discipleship Weekend. GO Camp signup and more information is coming soon. Good morning, Last week I mentioned the new business in Mobile called “Get Air”. If you were planning on dropping anyone off there under the age of 18 you won’t be able to do that anymore as some fights broke loose and they have since changed their policy. That doesn’t affect us going, but figured you should know. Currently we have 1 home that has agreed to hosting students during the D-Now Weekend March 18-20th. We need more than 1 so please let me know if you can host and if you have a preference for boys or girls. Remember that starting this Sunday after morning service the CAB will be on lockdown for solely yard sale stuff. I have been asked from a number of students if they could sell candy bars to raise funds for youth camp. I looked into World’s Finest Chocolate but to be able to make a profit we would have to order $2000+ worth of chocolate and I am not willing to risk that to make less than $1000 once we pay sales taxes, shipping, and risk potential theft of candies. Lastly, Don’t forget about the current fundraiser going on also, all details below and more.
