From Pastor Mark:

Tuesday: Today we went to the El Tejar Dump and conducted a Vacation Bible School for all of the people there. We were so privileged to share God’s love with them and also help to provide for their needs (with a sack lunch and lots of food and clothes).  Next, we stopped for lunch at Burger King, before conducting another Vacation Bible School in a church with hundreds of children at 1:30pm. Later on, we were involved in a church service near the mission house. All throughout the day we sang Spanish songs many times over and also enthusiastically performed the story of “The Prodigal Son”, acting as everything from wild friends… to pigs!  It was an amazing day. After the church service, we cleaned up the mess of our firecrackers from last night, before enjoying a dinner of leftovers back at the mission house. Then, we packed our bags and filled out forms while the girls went on a “shopping trip”!  We wrapped up the day with an information meeting. Before  turning in for the night, we said some goodbyes and headed off to bed. Pray that we will have safety as we travel tomorrow (Wednesday) and that there won’t be any flight complications. Also pray for all those people in the El Tejar Dump, that they will know God’s love for them, even in the midst of unbelievably difficult circumstances. This trip has been so blessed by the Lord, and I can’t believe that we’re going home already!
