Local Missions
For over 50 years, the church has been consistent in bringing people to church through our buses. We are able to visit children every Saturday in order to invite them to church with a smile and a piece of gum. Every Sunday, the buses travel to Grand Bay and surrounding community to bring people to church. If you are interested in coming to church through one of our buses simply call the church office.
We are honored to minister to the patients at the Grand Bay Convalescent Home every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. This is a special time for these patients as we worship through song and studying the Bible. We are always blessed to have “church” at the convalescent home.
On the fourth Friday of every month, we have the privilege to join the men at the Mission of Hope for a time of singing, preaching, and fellowship. We are able to serve the men lots of delicious food after the service. The men are always a blessing to us.
The McKemie Place provides shelter and food for homeless women. They work with women to help them get back on their feet as they find jobs and homes. On the first Tuesday of every month, people from Friendship provide a delicious dinner for all of the women. They are able to encourage and pray for them. They are able to share a message of hope and deliverance through Jesus Christ.
We believe we are called to show the love of Jesus in our community. We try to always be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We have many outreaches for our community throughout the year. Easter activities, Vacation Bible School, Trail of Truth, Thanksgiving Dinners, Soccer Leagues, Basketball League, Christmas Activities are a few of the ways we minister to our community.
