WEDNESDAY, 10/24/18

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

I am still reeling from the passing of Greg Boutwell.  I ask that you join me in continuing to pray for Rita, Kim, Kevin and the entire family as they walk through this valley.  The arrangements have not been completed but every indication is that everything will take place this Friday, 10/26.  Arrangements should be completed at some point today.

We will feed the Greg Boutwell family on Friday but not sure on those details just yet.

Sarah Thornton was discharged from the hospital yesterday.  Her attitude has been very, very positive and seem has remained upbeat throughout this whole ordeal.  Said she saw two of me as I was preaching Sunday morning and I quickly said, “I just hope you did not have to hear me twice!”  Pray for Sarah.

The number of men who have agreed to travel to Port St Joe, FL on Monday is now up to six.  We could use more.  Not sure what our work will consist of but I am being told that there is plenty to do.  We will probably leave the church around 3:00AM and get back around 11:00PM.  Just letting you know up front.  Email me if you are willing to join us.

Regular schedule this morning and tonight.  Lord willing, I will be in the pulpit for both services.

Marcus Hatcher will be in the CAB before tonight’s service for any child wishing to sign up for the basketball leagues.

Troy came out slinging the ball last night and the early run just proved too much for South to overcome.  Obviously South’s defense played much better in the second half but so did Troy’s.  Coach Collier had several of his former players in last night’s game – nice!

As I figured, the Dodgers could not handle the Red Sox last night.  It is highly possible that Boston will take their brooms to LA.

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.
