MONDAY, 2/14/11
Good day in our services yesterday – thanks be to God! Our attendance in the evening service was very good especially considering that our students were away at Winter Jam. I appreciate the faithfulness of our people.
Merwyn Gunter is in a rehab facility; Dee Dee’s mom is home while her dad remains hospitalized; Ted Ezell remains in the hospital as does Teddy Ray’s dad but I can see both of those gentlemen being discharged today; Nancy West’s dad continues to have problems and will most likely leave rehab and go back to the hospital. Pray for these folks!
Miss Martha Patrick will have surgery this morning. It is a little after 5:00AM and I am soon headed to the hospital to pray with her before the procedure. Pray for her.
Work day in the CAB this afternoon beginning at 1:00PM. I anticipate a good number present so it should not take long to get the rooms ready for the sheetrock guys. Sammy & Carl Ray will finish up the electrical work this morning.
“Potluck with the Pastor” takes place this Wednesday, 2/16. Lisa and I are providing the ham and drinks. You bring the rest. Our goal is 60. Will you join us?

Daddy had a rough night. Doctor said he wanted another chest X-ray to make sure the pneumonia was gone. They not happy with Daddys breathing. I want to personally thank everyone for their prayers for my parents. Thank you for your calls and visits. Dad was commenting on everyone’s kind hearts. After visiting with daddy I went to take mom lunch. She too thanks everyone. She ate great and was able to get up and sit in a chair by the window on her own. She is still sore from the broke rib but moving around good.
