TUESDAY, 9/30/14

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 60:1-62:5 Philippians 1:27-2:18 Psalm 72:1-20 Proverbs 24:11-12

Unknown to me, Martha Patrick was placed in the hospital last Friday.  Bro. Kerry visited with her late in the day yesterday.  It is my understanding that she is doing much better.

“C” received her second chemotherapy treatment yesterday afternoon.  They gave her the choice of remaining in the hospital overnight and she chose that option.  If everything went well, she will be coming home this morning.

Visited some of the folks in the convalescent home yesterday afternoon but was not able to see those who were taking part in a service.  Miss Exie was doing much better compared to last Monday.  Miss Barbara was asleep.  Kevin’s mother was busy looking through a magazine.

Vera Bosarge’s nephew-in-law passed away yesterday.  He was only 34 years of age and leaves behind his wife, Vera’s niece, and his daughter.  Pray for the family.

Folks, these are my last planned comments on this past Sunday night’s service.  I received e-mails until after 9:00PM yesterday, received some phone calls and got more in person comments yesterday about what that service meant to folks.  I have been pretty amazed and I am very thankful to God for His blessings.  He, and He alone, deserves the glory!  If the comments are an indicator, we had more folks from the Friendship family singing yesterday than ever before!  Keep singing!

I leave early this morning heading to El Salvador.  The other men from the States arrived safely yesterday.  I will basically step from the plane to the pulpit this afternoon.  Pray for this conference!  Thank you to those who have supported it financially.

What has happened to the Patriots?  Wow, the Chiefs took no prisoners in last night’s game?  What has happened to the Saints? Two big college games in MS this Saturday afternoon as well as a big one in Auburn on Saturday night.  Should be an exciting Saturday!

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus.
