FRIENDSHIP WINS! FRIENDSHIP WINS! FRIENDSHIP WINS! Last night, the guys from Friendship won their first softball game of the season in only their second game. Trailing 10 – 5 entering the final inning, they scored 9 runs and then allowed only 3 more runs to the other team to win 14 – 13. I attended the game and came to this conclusion – Rusty Suthoff serves as the coach in order to get playing time as he is now O for the season! Congratulations guys!
The funeral service for Jimmy Copeland takes place this morning at 10:00AM. Pray for that family. Miss Kittie’s brother, Ray Trehern, comes home from the hospital today. Thea told me that Miss Joyce had a better day yesterday than Monday. Steve Mayfield got a favorable report from the doctors and expects to be back in the church services soon. Bro. Kerry has been out basically since last Thursday with a sickness. Pray for these folks and all those who continue to battle cancer.
The “challenge” will be presented on Sunday evening, 9/28, as a part of our worship service. It is simple and Scriptural! I hope many members of the Friendship family will be present in that service to consider accepting it!
Today is a regular day at Friendship with the morning service and evening activities. I hope the members of the Friendship family will join us!
I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus!
