Wow!  The comments made to me after the service last night were fairly numerous and very positive.  My e-mail got “blown up” by folks expressing to me what that service meant to them.  My text is showing the same but I cannot open texts on my phone (flip phone circa 1985).  All I know is that I have never heard the Friendship family sing as well as they did in last night’s service – never!  Glory to God!  Thanks to Jeanette, Tena, Brad, Randall & Rita, Lynda, Justin & Ian for being flexible and for leading our musical worship.  Thanks to Bro. Jerry, Bro. Benny, Bro. Chris & Bro. Dale for ministering during the invitation.  Folks, it was a blessed service!  God is good!

I had prayers answered yesterday.  God used some members of the Friendship family to answer those prayers.  Thank you!

What a joy to see Josh, a recent graduate of the Mission of Hope, in our evening service with his parents.  Pray for him!

The annual pastors’ conference in El Salvador takes place tomorrow through Thursday.  Four pastors (Keith Martin, Chad Middlebrooks, Terry Nappier, BJ Parson) from the States leave this morning heading that way.  Lord willing, I will join them tomorrow.  Pray for this conference as well as the one that will take place in Guatemala in October.

We are down to the final two days for members of the Friendship family to sign up for the Summer GRACE Ministries mission trips to Guatemala and be guaranteed a spot.  Again, please do not “assume” that you are on the list simply because you have gone on previous trips, serve on the missions committee, et cetera.  I am assuming nothing when it comes to these trips!  Planning on joining us for one of these trips?  Best contact me via e-mail to confirm your name is on the list!

Amy Reynolds baked homemade chocolate chip cookies and was gracious enough to share some with my family and me.  She gave them to me after the service last night.  They were very good!  Was I surprised that they were good?  What do you think?  Thanks Amy!  (Amy is my favorite PE teacher at St. Elmo Elementary!)

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
