SUNDAY, 3/27/22

We are on a regular schedule on our campus this morning with worship, Sunday School and worship.  I am “glad” to be going to church!  Anyone with me?  I pray so!

Tonight, we will use the time between 5:00PM and 7:00PM to honor God by recognizing Miss Edna Grace Miller Holifield Glover for her fifty years of service to the Friendship family as our church secretary.  The main emphasis will take place around the 6:00PM hour.  Everything will take place in the CAB.

The arrangements for Diane Enriquez are as follows:  visitation with the family on Tuesday, 3/29, from 10:00AM until the noon service time.  Everything will take place from the First Assembly of God in Grand Bay.  Pray for the Enriquez family including our own, Carol Lucky.

The arrangements have not been finalized for Virginia Morris’ mother.  The family cannot even meet with the funeral directors until Tuesday.  So, Steve & Virginia will fly to Iowa this Tuesday, 3/29, and return home on Saturday, 4/2, as Steve has a biopsy scheduled for Monday, 4/4.  Pray for Steve & Virginia.

The number one question that I have been asked the past two days is, “heard anything from Tim Knighten’s biopsy?”  I have not and I assume neither has Tim.  Just keep praying.

Debbie Hyatt can now put some weight on her injured leg.  She has moved home so that is a good thing.  Pray for Debbie.

Dale Gaulden has been moved to a hospice facility.  It was tough on me seeing Dale in his present condition.  Pray for Grace and the rest of the family.

Jeanette Bates continues to recover at home.  Keep praying.  She will be missed in our services today.

The Lord blessed the service at the Mission of Hope this past Friday night with three men praying to accept Jesus as their personal Savior.  I am told that Andy Hamil did an awesome job of sharing his testimony.  I know Betty did well singing!  (Leslee probably did ok sharing the special music too – LOL!)

I am told opening day of soccer went well.  I was outside working in the yard and I could hear it – sounded like it was great!  Thanks to Bro. Abel and all who were involved.

This just in – the Guatemala economy is soaring!

I am in charge of breakfast for our Sunday School class this morning so I best get in the kitchen!  I much prefer Rhett’s corn beef hash but it is what it is!

I pray that you will have a great Sunday with Jesus.
