Sorry about not posting for the past two days. Was traveling on Monday and did not turn my computer on until too late yesterday. Lots of info today.
Betty Carol Neal will have surgery this morning. This is a repeat of the same procedure she had last week when she had the problems during surgery.
Brenda Timberlake’s sister, Lisa, has been battling cancer for a couple of years and has been getting good reports after her treatments. However, yesterday she got a less than desirable report that showed some new spots. Pray for Lisa and her family.
Neal Holmes was diagnosed with cancer on September 28. I did not know about this until yesterday morning and I visited with Carolyn and Neal. The prognosis is not good as he is under hospice care.
Miss Edith Kelley is scheduled to be released from the rehab center on Monday. She is a happy camper. I was able to visit with Miss Edith, Miss Exie Woods, and Merwyn Gunter yesterday morning. (Merwyn was asleep)
Millie Spiller looked/sounded better yesterday than she has in several weeks. As a matter of fact, she removed her oxygen apparatus the entire time I was visiting.
I made another visit yesterday with someone who is battling an affliction and simply ask that you pray for this unspoken request.
Mark Mast and his team of 22 Canadians and 2 Minnesotans are traveling home from Guatemala today. Actually, they will spend the night in Minneapolis tonight and drive home tomorrow. Pray for traveling mercies on this busiest travel day of year in the US.
There are no services/activities today or tonight at Friendship. However, we are on a regular schedule this Sunday, 11/25, and I will be preaching, Lord willing, in all three services.
The church office will close at noon today and will remain so until Monday morning at 8:00AM. However, I am in town (except for Saturday) and am available should an emergency arise. You can reach me by calling 445 5416 and leaving a voice mail as it goes directly to my e-mail.
I will not be sending a letter today as it is a short week. Just a FYI.
I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.
