  Don’t usually post on blogs, but felt impelled to share how much I will miss and how much I love Brother Robbie. I simply had to close my door here at work when Diane called me with the news. Not enough words to say or do justice to what he has meant to so many. He was and has been such a strong influence on my life – God just gave him the gift of reaching people for Jesus. He could draw in a rough/lost bunch of guys that wanted to play softball, and then tell them about Jesus – and help them grow in that relationship. I saw him take in young guys in the ministry – including my friend and Pastor Brother Teddie – he treated them like they were his own. I once heard Brother Robbie say from the pulpit – “I’d try to build a rocket ship out back of the church if I knew I could draw them in to tell them about Jesus”. He meant that. I am honored and privileged to say that Brother Robbie is my friend and Pastor. Think about all these folks we have serving that are a direct result of his ministry – what an awesome legacy. Thank you Jesus, for sending him our way. He will be sorely missed here, but can you imagine the reunion in heaven this A.M.
