“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Cecil’s surgery was a success.  Blo Joe and Joey are supposed to be able to visit her in the intensive care unit this morning.  Keep praying for Cecil.

Thank you to Rita Boutwell for coordinating the ministry of feeding the Gazzier family tomorrow.  If you can help and have not signed up, please call the church office this morning.  Also, thank you to each person helping in any way.

Our numbers were down in the auditorium yesterday morning and last night.  Not sure why but I am grateful to those who attended.  I am rejoicing always!

I am asking the Friendship family to step up big time during November as we are “Caring For Castlen” and “Sharing With St Elmo!”  Bring the needed items and place them in the foyer of the auditorium.  You can do this any service on a Sunday or Wednesday.

Regular scheduled on our campus this Sunday morning and evening.  Lord willing, I will be in the pulpit for all three services.  I hope to be joined by many members of the Friendship family and guests.

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.

WEDNESDAY, 11/4/20

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

First and foremost on our prayer list today is Cecil Guidry.  She is scheduled to have triple bypass surgery beginning around 11:00AM.  As has become the normal, no one will be allowed to be with her.  Pray for all to go well in the surgery.  Cecil has been a part of the Friendship family from the very start and has been an active member.  I love Cecil.  Our older girls call her Aunt Cecil.

The service for Jim & Annie Gazzier takes place this Friday, 11/6.  Rita Boutwell will be coordinating the ministry of feeding the family following the service.  We need help with the food.  If you can help then please call the office today or in the morning.

“Caring For Castlen” is our focus during November and into December.  Daphne Hutto is spearheading this ministry.  There will be a list shared this Sunday of the needs in order of priority.  Tennis shoes in sizes twelve through an adult nine are on top of the list.  Socks & underwear are next.  I am asking members of the Friendship family to purchase some of these items and bring them to one of our services this Sunday.  You can place them in the foyer of the auditorium.  We are going to emphasize this for the next three Sundays.  Friendship family, please respond in a huge way!

Regular schedule on our campus this morning and tonight.

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.

TUESDAY, 11/3/20

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

The church auditorium will be open today from 8:00AM until 7:00PM for anyone wanting to come there to pray.  It seemed that a pretty good number of folks came by and prayed yesterday.  Thank you to each person who is praying.

Our campus will be busy today as we are a voting place.  Therefore, I would suggest that folks avoid coming to the office unless absolutely necessary as the traffic volume will heavy.

Cecil Guidry is scheduled to have triple heart bypass surgery tomorrow.  Pray for Cecil and pray that all goes well.

The funeral services Mr Jim & Miss Annie Gazzier will take place this Friday, 11/6, from the Kenmar Funeral Home in Bayou La Batre beginning at noon.  There will be an hour of visitation with the family prior to the service.  Pray for the family.

Our church will be feeding the Gazzier family following the service.  Contact Tina Wilkinson if you can help with the food.

There may have been more but I know of at least three, two men and one woman, folks who spent time yesterday cleaning up our campus from the effects of Hurricane Zeta.  I so appreciate this labor of love by these folks.

Regular schedule on our campus tomorrow morning and evening.

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus.
