TUESDAY, 3/2/21

Happy birthday to my sister-in-law, Kim.  I hope she has a great day!  (I always try to respect my elders!)

Word came to Lisa this morning that her cousin, Jim, is not expected to live through the day.  Pray for his wife, children, parents and the entire family as they walk through this most difficult time.

The service for Gloria Merritt takes place today at noon.  Pray for her family.  I am praying that the rain will be stopped for thirty minutes or so as it is a graveside service.

The celebration of life service for Kevin Vice’s father takes place tomorrow, 3/3.  There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10:00AM until noon at the Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS.  A graveside service will then take place in the Orange Grove Cemetery in Orange Grove, MS.  Pray for Kevin and family during this time.

Regular schedule on our campus tomorrow morning and evening.

The folks who attended our service this past Sunday evening need to remember their homework assignment, please.

John Milton Ladnier plowed my garden spot this past Saturday.  John is so very good to me and I appreciate it.  Now if I can just get him to plant, hoe, and pick it then I will be in good shape!

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus.

MONDAY, 3/1/21

The Lord blessed us with a good day in our services yesterday.  Our attendance was good, the spirit was very good and the day ended in a great way with the baptism of Amanda Steele.  We give God the glory for all He has done.

Cecil Guidry shared with me yesterday that Kevin Vice’s father has passed from this life.  Pray for Kevin, Rita and the entire Vice family.

Cecil also told me that Nina Stringfellow has been admitted to the hospital again.  Pray for Nina.

The funeral service for Gloria Merritt takes place tomorrow.  It is a graveside service and the forecast calls for rain.  Prayerfully, there will be a break in the rain around noon and the service can take place as scheduled.

Read in the obituaries that Ed Keyes passed from this life last Thursday.  Ed was the worship leader at Cottage Hill Baptist for many years and was then at Luke 4:18 Fellowship for several years.

As I am typing this entry, Michael Holt and I are headed to Birmingham and back today.  Pray for us to have traveling mercies.

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
