Miss Judy Tucker’s mother, Miss Cecil McIIwain, passed away Saturday morning. The visitation will be tomorrow, 12/21, from 9:00AM until the 11:00AM service at First Baptist Citronelle. Pray for Miss Judy, her siblings, and the family during this time.
Roy Blodgett & Bill Unrue have both been moved from ICU into regular hospital rooms. Pattie Suthoff has improved and “may” come home today. Sanford Horn remains hospitalized too. Pray for these folks.
We had a good day in our services yesterday. Bro. Kerry & the choir did a nice job of sharing the Word through song last night. Our morning services were well attended. I do not have an update on our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering total but will share that in tomorrow’s entry.
We are on a normal schedule this Wednesday, 12/22. We have our annual Christmas Eve service from 5:00 – 6:00PM and then one service (10:30AM) this Sunday, 12/26. The church office will be closed Monday, 12/27, and Thursday, 12/30.
Thanks to Abby Williams I now have a “dark meter” so I am all set for tonight! What? Tonight is going to be the darkest night in 456 years and it will not be this dark again until 2094! I will use the “dark meter” to measure tonight’s darkness.
