ONE CORRECTION ON TONIGHT’S SERVICE

I made a mistake!  It is 9:00AM and I had only made 8 thus far today but now I am pushing double digits!

The choir will not meet tonight at 6:00PM!  That is great as it simply means more folks can join us for prayer in the youth building at 6:00PM.

WEDNESDAY, 1/15/14

Bible reading for today – Genesis 31:17-32:12, Matthew 10:24-11:6, Psalm 13:1-6, Proverbs 3:16-18

TJ sent me an e-mail last night saying that Lindsey was discharged from the hospital.  She is still a very sick young lady.  Her immune system is low.  No visitors allowed per the doctor’s orders.  Please respect that.  E-mails, texts, et cetera will have to do for the time being.

The doctor told Carolyn Blaylock that she “may” be moved to a regular room today.  She is so ready!  She too has a ways to go in her healing process.

We had a better number in our service last night – praise the Lord and thank you for being faithful.  The singing and preaching were both  good.  Once again, numerous decisions at the altar.  God is doing some things in the life of our people that probably will not be manifested until later.  Only God knows!

Tonight is the last night and I am praying for miracles.  Praying for revival.  Praying for a great attendance!  Praying for great worship and time in the Word!  Praying for a great love offering for Pastor Jack.  Praying for revival.  We will meet in the youth building at 6:00PM for prayer.  Choir meets at 6:00PM also.

Folks, lets end these services with a bang to the glory of God!  Everyone meets in the auditorium tonight at 6:30PM.

After Pastor Jack publicly complained on Monday night about the towels in the hotel, one of the sweet members of the Friendship family took him two soft towels and a cake.  He does not know who the person is but I do.  I thank her for being kind!  Folks, it is never wrong to be kind!  Pastor Jack is used to this kind of treatment from the folks at DBC.

Soy, Rusty & Dale wanted to play cards last night.  Soy & Rusty have played for years while Dale just recently started.  It amazed me last night at how much better Dale has gotten in a couple of weeks.  He clearly outplayed Soy & Rusty last night.  Amazing!

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.
