Kevin Sprinkle’s brother, Archie, passed from this life very early this morning.  I was able to go by the hospital and pray with Kevin & Tina after the service last night.  Pray for the family as they make arrangements and walk through this valley.

Clara Broadus’ sister, Faye, remains hospitalized in Panama City, FL and is not doing well.  Certainly needs our continued prayer support.

The funeral arrangements for Amy Reynolds’ grandfather are as follows:  visitation with the family on Wednesday, 12/17, from noon until the 2:00PM service time.  Visitation and service at Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore, AL.

The visitation with the Caryn Suthoff family is today from 3:00 – 9:00PM in our church auditorium.  The added hours should help with the size of the line and I appreciate the family being considerate of others.  It is going to be a long day for the family.  Kim French & Soy Taylor’s class (30 -39) will host a break room for the family with a meal and drinks.  I appreciate them doing that.  I ask that we respect the family’s private time from 2:00 – 3:00PM.

The service takes place tomorrow at 11:00AM preceded by one hour of visitation with the family.  Pray for Caryn’s niece, Layla, April Nicholson, Randall Broome and Brad Hutto as they will all be sharing a message in song.  Levi will be playing the piano for them.  Jeanette will be playing the pre-service music.  I appreciate each of these folks being involved in this ministry.

Tony Tripp’s maternal grandmother passed away over the weekend.  She lived in Pennsylvania.  Pray for Tony’s family.

Keep praying for Lisa Thompson and the others battling cancer.

Pastor Alben Gaston is in a Birmingham hospital and is showing some good signs of improvement.  Dr. Thomas Wright gave me an update following our second morning service yesterday and Cecil Guidry did likewise last night.

Dylan says that Levi Westbrook is at home and is making improvement.  He will be able to work from home.  Keep praying.

We were blessed with a really good day in our services yesterday.  Derrick did a nice job of sharing about the work God has called them to and promoting the LMCO.  Pray that they will have a good time with family over the Christmas season.

Tena Hovel and the children’s choir did a nice job of presenting the Gospel in the evening service.

Our attendance was really good in the morning services.  I appreciate folks who are faithful!

Our final wave of folks who were on the GRACE Ministries trip returned home yesterday afternoon.  Several of them were in our service last night.  I was blessed by that fact.  It was a really good trip.  This trip will perhaps become our most popular one in the years ahead.

The Finance Committee has given the committee overseeing the asphalt work the green light to begin.  That ad hoc committee will now pursue the absolute lowest bid and move forward with phase one of the project.

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
