MONDAY, 5/16/22
We had three good services yesterday. The first service was our best attended as far as the auditorium numbers were concerned. I am thankful for those who choose to be faithful.
Charles Clark’s only sister, Virginia, passed from this life yesterday afternoon. She was ninety two years old. Arrangements pending. Pray for the family.
The celebration of life service for Angie Bentley’s maternal aunt will take place this Thursday, 5/19. Pray for that family too.
Rhett Butler’s father had a stroke this past Friday. He is hospitalized. Pray for Mr. Butler.
Rick Bradley’s father had a stroke yesterday morning. He is in ICU. Pray for Mr. Bradley.
Marie Brooks’ sister is also in the hospital. She has been experiencing much pain. Pray for Libby and the family.
Tim Knighten was in our services yesterday. He looks good and sounds good. It appears that it could be sometime in June before he goes back to M.D. Anderson Hospital. Tim’s faith is very strong. Keep praying!
Myrtle Bowden continues to take treatments and battle the side effects. Continue to pray for Myrtle.
Steve Morris continues with his treatments. He was in our services yesterday. Pray for Steve!
Elaine Brown was in our first service yesterday. She is taking a radiation treatment every week day. Pray for these treatments to go well.
Larry & Judy Whitehurst told me that Rodney is doing better regarding the side effects of his treatments. Keep praying.
