Continue to pray for Eddie Brinkman as he remains in the hospital. Pray for Lisa too.
My cousin Rachel Crouch will meet with a doctor this Monday and then an oncologist on Monday, 11/9. Pray for Rachel and Pastor Roy.
Regular schedule on the Friendship campus tomorrow morning and evening. I will have the privilege of preaching in our Spanish service. This was scheduled before my retirement announcement so I an honoring the commitment I made to Pastor Alfredo.
It is October 31, 2026. I promised to blog until this date. I am fulfilling that promise with this entry. Will there be more blogs on this site? Maybe, maybe not. That decision will not be mine exclusively. I have been asked to blog from another site and that is a possibility. I will not blog tomorrow, 11/1, as it is a Sunday. Once a final decision is made I hope to have at least one entry to share the decision. All thirteen readers deserve to hear it from me.
Henry & Sue Wyse, Hannah Contretras, Cecil Guidry, Alaina Peacock, Kim French, Jay Oakwood, Pastor Roy Crouch, Al Stokes and several others wanted me to write “happy birthday” to the GOAT of college football. He turned seventy-five years old today. I normally only wish my family members a happy birthday but what can they do to me now? Fire me? Just saying! Rumor has it that the GOAT is a closet reader of the blog!
Pray for Pastor Abel as he prepares to preach tomorrow. I will be helping in the Preschool Department during the morning service but will be baptizing one young girl at some point during that hour. What a blessing!
This is time change Sunday so fall back before going to bed tonight.
