THURSDAY, 5/12/22

We were blessed with a really good day in our two services yesterday.  Our morning attendance slipped a bit but our evening attendance was up.  We thank God for His blessings and I thank those from the Friendship family who are faithful to attend.

I just learned that Angie Bentley’s maternal Aunt, Vivian Lowery, passed from this life yesterday afternoon.  Pray for the family.

Tim & Peggy Knighten should be home from Houston by now as Tim’s test set for today was done yesterday.  The doctor Tim was to see on Monday did not have any openings so Tim will now wait on a phone consult Friday and then go from there.  Keep praying for Tim.

Steve Morris received another medicine yesterday via delivery.  This will be a daily medicine for him.  Keep praying for Steve.

Myrtle Bowden continues to have some painful side effects from her chemo treatments.  Pray for Myrtle!

Keep praying for Donnie Felps as he recovers from his surgery.

The fiftieth wedding anniversary celebration for Junior & Anna Carol Bosarge takes place this Saturday, May 14, from 2:00 – 4:00PM in our Preschool Building.  Everyone from the Friendship family is invited to attend.

I am taking today as a vacation day in order to get some yard work done as Lisa and I will travel to Hartselle, AL tomorrow returning home late Saturday afternoon.  Saturday marks the second anniversary of my dad’s passing from this life.  My siblings and I, along with our spouses, will spend some time Saturday with our Mama.

Eddie Albritton and I went lawn mower shopping last night after the service.  My push mower is literally being held together (deck) by duct tape so I figured it as time for a new one.  I bought another Troy Bilt as this has easily been the best push mower I have ever owned – started on the first pull each time.  The engine on my existing mower is very good if anyone needs one.  The deck is gone!  Just FYI.

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.
